The Proposal
Judy and Jonathan first met at SingStrong a cappella festival on March 29, 2009 (Jonathan's birthday) in Reston, VA.
Backed up by Blue Jupiter, Jonathan's a cappella group, and performing an original song written for Judy, Jonathan proposed to Judy on that same stage in front of 600 friends and family (and a few strangers) on Saturday March 2, 2013. The proposal was a complete surprise to Judy. Thankfully, it was captured on video by several friends.

Jonathan wrote the original proposal song titled "Will You". It would have been called "Will You Marry Me" but Jonathan didn't want to give away the surprise, just in case Judy happened to come across the music, or even the set list.
The lyrics are all inspired by Jonathan and Judy's life together:
Will You
Words and Music by Jonathan Minkoff ©2013
Hearts drawn upside-down
Major thirds abound when you're around
We don't have to make a sound
We look and we just know
Christmas Valentine
A smokey scotch instead of wine
Robot bodies when we're old
'Cause we promised we'd never die
Remember when I saw you
in the hall and from the stage?
Remember on my birthday when I had to know your name?
Somehow this feels the same
Will you marry me
And be my love
Forever?
Forever and evermore?
Will you be my love?
